Description:
Based on a key student created portraits based on personal information. ​The shape of the head, eyes, mouth, and nose; and, number of hair strands were all dependent on their birthday, interests, and favourite food.

Significance:
I was introduced to this graphing activity in my Curriculum Teaching in Math course. As an introduction to the data and graphing unit, students were able to represent data in a creative and personal format. The students were excited to make their glyphs and show them to their classmates.
