Description:
As an introduction to the element of design of shape, I began with a PowerPoint of a variety images fof shapes found in the man-made and natural environment. After a whole class discussion, each student was given a shape and created their own scenery.
​
Significance:
The students were enthusiastic to point out the variety of shapes they observed in the images. They were inspired to create their own pieces, too.
